Our Demands:

1. Immediate Attention and Amendment of Terms for Live Animal Air Transport

We demand that the government and airlines adhere to international animal welfare standards, consumer protection laws, animal protection laws, civil aviation laws, and civil laws (as listed below), and strictly enhance safety measures for animals placed in cargo holds. This includes ensuring proper temperature control, adequate air circulation, and emergency medical facilities in cargo holds. Pet owners should have the right to choose to travel with their pets in the cabin for timely care. Additionally, we request the cancellation of all unreasonable clauses restricting pet owners' rights to care for and protect their pets. This is not just a matter of safety and animal welfare but also an important issue concerning public trust and corporate responsibility that should be given serious and thorough consideration.

2. Call for a "Tripartite Dialogue" Involving the Government, Airlines, and Pet Owners

We urge the government, airlines, and pet owners to immediately arrange a "Tripartite Dialogue" to discuss and jointly formulate a reasonable and safe solution. Through such collaboration, we can ensure that every life is treated with full respect and care.

3. Support for Pets Traveling in Aircraft Cabins from the Public Concerned about Pet Travel Safety

We call on the people concerned about pet travel safety to support policies allowing pets into the aircraft cabin. Doing so can not only reduce anxiety and health issues for pets due to stress or environmental changes during flights but also allow pet owners to directly care for their pets, ensuring their health, safety, and comfort.

4. Provision of Pet-Friendly National Carrier Flights

We look forward to national carriers actively responding by providing pet-friendly flights designed specifically for pets. This includes suitable resting spaces for pets, safe activity areas, and necessary hygiene facilities. Through these measures, pets can travel more comfortably on long journeys, providing peace of mind for pet owners as well.
