If Petland went Humane they would be helping their community by saving local animals from our county shelters which would help our county tax money by lowering the euthanasia rate as well as it would not help large scale kennel breeders aka puppy/kitten mills profit from abuse, neglect and cruelty. They would find more support in the community along with respect.
