Scotland is a nation and is recognised by the United Nations to be such. We the signatories to this petition, do declare that we the people of Scotland are sovereign and that by our 'Claim of Right for Scotland' we demand the right to determine our own future in the form of an independence referendum to be held at the earliest possible opportunity after the Covid-19 Pandemic is over. At the moment the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson is refusing to grant a Section 30 Order granting the Scottish Government the legal power to hold a referendum. We declare that Mr. Johnson by his action, is in contravention of the United Nations Charter on Human Rights & call upon the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to intervene on behalf of the nation of Scotland and petition the UK Government to Grant a Section 30 Order.
