The following petition draws the attention of the Council to the road map for the development of the Dohertys Road dip

We, the undersigned residents of Wyndham, are writing to urgently petition the council for the immediate relaying and development of the Dohertys Road dip. The recent and past closures due to rains have highlighted the severe deficiencies in the current infrastructure, causing significant inconvenience and posing safety hazards to the community.

Issues and Concerns:

Frequent Road Closures: Doherthy Road has been closed multiple times due to rainfalls, disrupting daily commutes and emergency services.
Safety Hazards: The condition of these roads poses significant risks to drivers, especially during inclement weather.
Economic Impact: Local businesses and residents face financial hardships due to the unreliable infrastructure, affecting deliveries, customer access, and daily operations.

Immediate Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of The Doherty’s Road Dip and what is the bottleneck for the development of the Doherty Road Dip.
Regular Maintenance: What actions are implemented on maintenance to ensure these roads remain in optimal condition, especially during and after adverse weather events?
Transparency and Communication: Keep the residents informed about the progress of these projects through regular updates and community meetings.
