Dear friends, The Syracuse University Senate voted to support the students and community at SU in a vote this last Wednesday. Using the wording of this petition, which you all helped garner attention, and amending it slightly they passed it through. Attached is a Daily Orange article going over what happened in the meeting, including our contribution. Thank you all for spreading the word and being a part of change and activism in our Syracuse community! We must all continue to stay vigilant in our efforts to provide a place free of fear. Keep on the lookout, and vocalize your thoughts, in January for when the Chancellor and Senate will be continuing to review DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program) stances and other important issues.
