Petition to Suspend All Cooperation Between Europe and the United States While Donald Trump is in Office

To: The Leaders of European Nations, the European Union, and the International Community

 

We, the undersigned, demand the immediate suspension of all diplomatic, economic, and military cooperation between Europe and the United States for the duration of Donald Trump’s presidency. His documented instability, blatant disregard for democratic norms, and repeated threats against America’s own allies make continued partnership untenable.

 

Trump has openly threatened European nations with military action, undermined NATO, and now, with his latest reckless plan to invade and permanently occupy the Gaza Strip for profit, he has made it clear that he poses a direct threat to global stability. This proposed military occupation and real estate scheme would be a flagrant violation of international law, mirroring the kind of imperial aggression the world has condemned elsewhere like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

 

Europe rightly severed ties with Russia over Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine. The same standard must apply to the United States under Trump’s leadership. No European country should continue trade, intelligence-sharing, or military alliances with a regime openly advocating illegal invasions and threats against its own allies.

 

We demand:

1. The immediate suspension of all military cooperation with the United States, including NATO operations involving U.S. forces.

2. A freeze on trade agreements and economic partnerships with American companies and industries supporting Trump’s policies.

3. The exclusion of the U.S. from diplomatic initiatives on global security and peace efforts until a new administration restores democratic norms and international cooperation.

 

We cannot allow Trump’s reckless and dangerous actions to go unchallenged. Europe must take a stand now before further harm is done.
