As a deeply concerned citizen, I believe the democracy of our country is at stake. The outcome of the 2024 election will critically impact not just my rights, but the rights and well-being of everyone in this country, as well as our standing in the world. It is crucial that we shed light on all of Donald Trump's lies and egregious acts which should disqualify him from running for president.  If the worst comes to pass and Trump is elected, he will throw away our history of 248 years of democracy.

From spreading misinformation about COVID-19 to undermining our democratic institutions, his actions have shown a total disregard for truth and the rule of law. According to The Washington Post’s Fact Checker database, as of August 2020, President Trump had made over 30,573 false or misleading claims during his presidency.

We must show our support for Joe Biden who has pledged to restore decency and common courtesy in the White House and to work towards unity in these divisive times. He has shown his ability to be flexible, to compromise, and to work with both sides of the aisle. He is well-spoken, kind, gentlemanly, and possesses tremendous working knowledge of U.S. and world politics after his decades of service to our country.

Instead you will be supporting a candidate who values truthfulness, civility, humility, integrity, and kindness. Please sign this petition to express your support for Joe Biden and disavow Trump who will undermine our democracy.  He is a billionaire (allegedly) serving billionaires.  Remember in 2016 when he said  "I don't want your money, I don't need your money.  I'm rich, I'll never take a penny."  He has now taken $64 million to pay lawyers representing him and allies in a series of criminal and civil cases since January of 2023 through April 2024. Trump is not for the average American, he is for the very wealthy of our country.  His religion is the religion for and of Trump!  He has an utter disregard for the rule of law and an all-consuming selfishness that consistently puts his personal interests above those of the nation.  The primary reason some very wealthy people are backing Trump is they want the Trump tax cuts to become permanent and not expire as scheduled in 2025.
