Corporate rebranding is a plague thats been sweeping our nation, and now its reached our school. The new George Mason logo thats been seemimgly conjoured up out of no where has no passion, no soul, and does not make me proud to be a mason student. I would not take pride in saying I go to a school where they’ve falled prey to minimalist corporate rebranding.

This new logo was a suprise to many, if not all students, as of April 25th. If the school logo should be changed it should be designed by mason students or at least chosen by them. The easiest answer would be to revert the easily recognizable Mason logo. The unknown amount of funding used from our tuition should not be used to make a souless husk of a logo. We should know what our tuition goes towards and have a say as to how its spent.
