It is with great respect and genuine concern for the well-being of our school community that I pen this petition in support of Leslie Aragon, Jr., the current Athletic Director.

As articulated in the school's mission statement, Orangewood Academy aims to foster purity of heart, develop clarity of mind, nurture integrity of purpose, and stimulate intensity of mission in every student. Mr. Aragon has consistently embodied these ideals throughout his tenure at Orangewood, serving as a dedicated mentor and role model for our students.

Mr. Aragon has played a pivotal role in positively influencing the lives of countless students, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to their personal and academic growth. His ability to model responsibility and instill qualities such as respect and grace aligns seamlessly with the core values that Orangewood Academy strives to instill in its students.

In particular, Mr. Aragon has served as a beacon of support and guidance for students who may not have had positive adult role models in their lives. He has, in many instances, acted as a father-figure for those in need, providing invaluable mentorship and support. Such genuine care for the well-being of students extends beyond the basketball court and contributes significantly to the holistic development of the individuals under his guidance.

Through his coaching, Mr. Aragon imparts essential life skills such as hard work and perseverance, which are integral characteristics for success both in higher education and the workforce. The values he instills in his players extend far beyond the realm of sports, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

In light of Mr. Aragon's outstanding contributions to the Orangewood Academy community and the transformative impact he has had on our students, we, the undersigned members of the Orangewood Academy community, respectfully request that you consider allowing Leslie Aragon, Jr., to continue in his current position as the Athletic Director.
