We, the undersigned parents, guardians, students, staff, and community members, respectfully and passionately submit this petition to express our full support for Dr. Wilkins and to strongly advocate for his continued placement as Dean at Central Primary School. Dr. Wilkins is not only an exceptional educational leader, but a compassionate, consistent, and irreplaceable presence in the lives of our children. His role as Dean has gone far beyond academic discipline and administrative responsibilities—he has become a mentor, a motivator, and a vital part of the emotional and social development of our students. As a parent of two children at Central Primary, I can speak from deeply personal experience about the impact Dr. Wilkins has had on my family. When I began noticing signs that something might be different with my son—his attention span, his behavior, his emotional responses—I felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to navigate what was ahead. It was Dr. Wilkins who stepped in with guidance, patience, and a steady hand. He didn’t just treat my child like another student—he treated him like his student, someone worth investing time, love, and care into. Dr. Wilkins was instrumental in helping us through the process of identifying and understanding my son’s ADHD and autism diagnoses. He listened without judgment, offered support every step of the way, and connected us with resources that made a real difference. He followed up, checked in, and most importantly—believed in my son. That belief changed everything. Dr. Wilkins also took the time to build a strong and respectful relationship with my daughter. He made sure that she, too, felt seen, valued, and safe at school. His involvement didn’t end when the school bell rang—he remained a consistent source of encouragement and wisdom for our entire family. That’s the kind of educator he is—someone who genuinely cares and shows up, day after day, for every student and every family. His presence has helped create a school culture rooted in respect, empathy, and excellence. He supports teachers and staff with the same kindness and leadership he extends to families, making Central Primary a place where everyone feels they belong. His removal would not just be a loss—it would be a major disruption to the stability and emotional well-being of countless students and parents who depend on him. We are united in the belief that Dr. Wilkins is exactly where he is meant to be. His leadership and compassion are essential to the continued success of Central Primary School, and the positive trajectory so many of our children are on. We respectfully urge the decision-makers to hear our voices and recognize the profound value Dr. Wilkins brings to this school and this community. Please keep him in his role as Dean of Central Primary, where he continues to change lives for the better each and every day.
