We, the undersigned parents, students, alumni, and community members of Franklin County, are calling for immediate action to replace the current head coach of the Franklin County Eagles football team.

This program is full of talented, loyal athletes who deserve leadership that builds them up—not breaks them down. Under the current coach, we’ve seen a culture of poor communication, lack of accountability, and leadership that fails to protect the passion these boys bring to the field.

Too many players are finishing the season out of loyalty—not love. The joy, the fire, the connection to the game they’ve carried since childhood is fading. And that’s not on them. That’s on the system.

What school keeps a coach who’s stacked more losing seasons than winning ones? Who refuses to change his approach, even as players transfer out to other schools just to find the leadership they deserve? This isn’t stubbornness—it’s negligence. And it’s costing us our athletes, our pride, and the future of this program.

We need a coach who leads with integrity, earns respect, and restores pride to this team Our boys deserve better. Franklin County deserves better.

We urge the school board and athletic department to take swift action to remove the current head coach and begin the search for new leadership that reflects the values, grit, and potential of this team.
