Petition summary:

·      There is an overwhelming majority who oppose this scheme in the area and this has caused immense disturbance which is affecting the movement of residents.

·      The people of the area where these planters have been placed would like to register their objection to this and ask for these to be removed.

·      The restriction in the ease of movement in Withington has been destroyed by the invasion of these planters and this is not a credible solution to the problem posed by the few.

·      This petition serves as the voice of the people of the area affected and ask for you to remove these planters with immediate effect.

·      The emergency services have struggled over the recent weeks to get to area with ease and the response time has increased due to these measures to please a few.

·      Traffic on the outer roads has increased dramatically.
·      Cut throughs/rat runs are now taking place on roads that were not designed to handle such high traffic volumes as the roads are narrow with cars parked on both sides of the road creating essentially one lane for traffic heading both directions.
