We, the undersigned fans, enthusiasts, and supporters of Formula 1, respectfully request the removal of Johnny Herbert from his position as an FIA steward. While we respect Mr. Herbert’s experience as a former driver, we believe that his recent decisions and public comments do not align with the level of impartiality and consistency we expect from F1 stewards.

Our concerns include:

1. Lack of Consistency: Several recent decisions involving Mr. Herbert appear inconsistent with prior rulings on similar incidents, leading to confusion among fans and teams alike.

2. Questionable Impartiality: Statements made publicly by Mr. Herbert have, at times, cast doubt on his impartiality, which is vital for a steward to maintain the integrity of the sport.

3. Impact on the Sport’s Reputation: The controversies arising from Mr. Herbert's decisions are damaging Formula 1's reputation for fair competition, leaving many fans frustrated with the current stewarding standards.

We believe that the role of a steward should be fulfilled by individuals who can consistently apply the rules without bias and maintain the trust of teams, drivers, and fans. To that end, we urge the FIA to reconsider Johnny Herbert’s position and appoint a steward with proven impartiality and a deep understanding of the sport's regulatory framework.
