Share your STORY

Thank you to everyone who attended our meeting on Saturday. It was nice to be reminded that we are not alone in our experience and that we have each other in community. So what now? 

Right now we are asking everyone to SHARE. Share this petition with anyone you know who has come into contact with NELALL. Share your story with us. If you feel comfortable, share your story by adding a comment to this petition AND email Milan Mrakich, the District 18 Administer--mmrakich@sbcglobal.net to share your story with them and demand Eric's removal and a fair board election for NELALL.  District 18 has been receiving complaints about this for years, but if enough people email them now, we can get their attention and they will be called to action. Email reitjen@gmail.com for an email template that you can use to send in your personal story. 

If you do not feel safe or comfortable to share your story publicly, please know that you are not alone. We have received several emails privately from people who want change but fear retaliation. So if that sounds like you, but you would like your story to be known, please consider sharing your story with us anonymously by emailing reitjen@gmail.com and we will share it anonymously with the district. You can also email District 18 and leave out the personal details. Any and all of it will make a difference! 

We will be posting more updates later in the week about what else you can do to ensure that change is implemented so we can put the focus back on the kids and ensure a safe environment for them to grow their love of baseball at NELALL.
