Petition to remove the cycle lane adjacent to the A690

(from Dairy Lane to the Houghton Cut roundabout) 

We, the undersigned, are opposed against the mostly unused cycleway and wish to highlight the following points of concern:

(i) Road safety concerns regarding access for emergency vehicles

(ii) Increased traffic and congestion to access A690

(iii) Increased hazard for pedestrians

We call upon Sunderland Council to listen to residents' concerns and:

1.Remove the cycle lane adjacent to the A690 (from Dairy Lane to the Houghton Cut roundabout}
