Dear Petition Supporters, 

We want to thank each of you for signing the petition to ask Echo.church to release former pastors and staff from NDAs that prevent them from sharing their stories of what they endured while working under Andy Wood and Filipe Santos at Echo.church in San Jose, CA. There are many stories from 14 years that remain untold and buried.

The silencing that continues is an overwhelming burden on many former staff, and will remain so until they are released to tell their stories. NDAs have no place in the church, and with the many allegations of psychological, emotional, verbal and spiritual abuse at the hands of Andy Wood, the release of these NDAs could corroborate the stories of those who have come forward to show the pattern of abuse- bullying, intimidation, coercion, etc. Now that Andy Wood is the lead pastor of the even larger Saddleback church, the number of people he can abuse his power with has increased.

We would appreciate it greatly if you would share this petition with individuals you know, and on social media to help us reach 1,500 signatures, which could get the attention of local news to warn anyone who wishes to work at or attend a church with systems that silence with NDAs.

As further articles get written about Andy Wood (there is an AP article forthcoming), the amount of signatures will make it more likely that it may be mentioned in the article to let the reader make a more informed decision about whether or not the truth about Andy Wood use of power has been fully known.
