We, the undersigned, as residents of the Town of Fairfield and as frequent—if not daily—users of the town’s recreational facility located on Mill Plain Road (“the Facility”), respectfully request that the Town reconsider its recent decision to terminate David Westbrook’s employment and reinstate him to his position at the Facility.

We have known Mr. Westbrook for several years in his capacity as a dedicated employee of the Town. Throughout that time, we have consistently found him to be cheerful, helpful, cooperative, and courteous, particularly in the performance of his duties at the Facility. In our experience, he has demonstrated a high level of professionalism and has been an outstanding example of a hardworking and committed public employee.

While none of us condone any type of inappropriate behavior at the Facility, we respectfully ask the Town to balance any negative complaint that may have been received against the many years of overwhelmingly positive interactions that members of the community have had with Mr. Westbrook.

We believe that Mr. Westbrook has served the community with integrity and dedication, and we strongly support his reinstatement. Please join me in standing up for Dave and ensuring our town continues to benefit from his positive influence.
