We, the undersigned, demand an immediate reduction in domestic airfare across all Canadian airlines.

Canada is a country of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant cities, and rich cultural heritage. Yet, for many Canadians, traveling within our own borders has become a luxury only a few can afford. With skyrocketing airfare prices, families, students, and hard-working individuals are forced to look outside Canada for affordable vacations, taking their tourism dollars elsewhere.

This is unacceptable.

The Problem:

Domestic flight prices in Canada are among the highest in the world.

A round-trip ticket from Toronto to Vancouver often costs more than a trip to Europe or the Caribbean.

Canadians are being priced out of their own country, unable to visit loved ones, explore new provinces, or contribute to local economies.

High airfare discourages domestic tourism, impacting small businesses, local attractions, and the hospitality industry.

Our Demands:

• Lower and more competitive pricing for domestic flights  
• Canadians should not have to pay excessive prices to travel within their own country.

•  More budget-friendly options and clearer breakdowns of costs are necessary.
• Government intervention to regulate fair pricing 

If other countries can have affordable domestic travel, why can’t Canada?
