Why this petition matters

Started by Constance Jones

The city of Philadelphia and the school district, have a responsibility to provide a school for children who have Autism.

Our children would benefit from a public school for Autism, staffed with professionals who are trained and qualified for their special needs.  Our options as parents of children with autism, are limited.

If our children are not provided with adequate resources, we find ourselves having to move to a district that has better services, pay for private school, sue to get the school district to pay for a private school, or home school.  This has affected countless families.

It's time we give all of our children the best chance at success.
