📣 PETITION UPDATE — WE ARE BEING HEARD! 📣

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has signed, shared, commented, and supported our effort.

❤️ WE HAVE 215 SIGNATURES IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK!

That may be just a number to some people, but to me, it represents 215 people who took the time to say that homeowners facing these enormous septic costs deserve to be heard.

And we are already starting to get responses.

📞 I received a call from the Economic Opportunities Council (EOC) regarding septic assistance. I was told that they are currently working on the City of Vero Beach program, and that assistance for Indian River County is expected to begin sometime in October.

I will be following up closely to find out exactly what assistance will be available, who qualifies, how much assistance may be available, and how homeowners can apply.

This is exactly why we need to keep speaking up.

Our goal isn't to avoid protecting the Indian River Lagoon. We all want clean water and a healthy environment. Our goal is to make sure that homeowners—especially seniors, retirees, and people living on limited incomes—aren't left alone with a $20,000–$30,000 bill they simply cannot afford.
