Fetter's Mill Bridge, a historic landmark in our community, is at a crossroads. While its upcoming reconstruction is necessary, we, the undersigned residents of Bryn Athyn, believe it's crucial to ensure our voices are heard throughout the process.

We propose the formation of a dedicated committee composed of representatives from the Bryn Athyn Borough, the Fetters Mill Historic District, and concerned residents. This committee will serve as a liaison between the community and Montgomery County, ensuring that the reconstruction project considers the needs and concerns of Bryn Athyn residents and the surrounding community.

This committee will:

• Advocate for responsible development: Ensure the project minimizes traffic congestion, protects the Pennypack Creek's ecosystem, and preserves the historical integrity of the Fetters Mill Historic District.
• Facilitate community input: Provide a platform for residents to share their concerns, ideas, and feedback throughout the planning and construction phases.
• Promote transparency and accountability: Ensure open communication and collaboration between the county, the borough, and the community.

By working together, we can ensure that the Fetter's Mill Bridge reconstruction project respects our community's values, protects our environment, and enhances our quality of life.
