Petition to KSRTC: Update Ticket Machines to Include ALL Stops & Stop Overcharging!

 

As a daily commuter, I’m forced to pay more than my fair fare—simply because my destination station (Mada) and others are missing from KSRTC’s ticket machines. Instead of a ticket to Mada, conductors charge me for the next available station, costing me extra every day. This is unfair, illegal, and must end.

 

This isn’t just about Mada. Many stations—especially newer or less prominent ones—are excluded from KSRTC’s system, forcing countless passengers to overpay. A public transit system should be accurate, transparent, and fair for all, not outdated and exploitative.  

 

 

We Demand KSRTC: 

1. Immediately update ALL ticket machines to include every stop on every route—no exceptions.  

 

2. Publicly acknowledge this issue and commit to regular audits, ensuring new stops are added promptly.  

 

3. Refund affected passengers who’ve been overcharged due to this negligence.  

 

 

Why This Matters:  

- Daily commuters lose money for no fault of their own.  

- KSRTC’s credibility suffers when fares aren’t transparent.

- A simple fix exists —update the database!
