Please sign my petition to demand that walk through metal detectors be installed in all KUSD schools immediately. Random checking of students with a metal detecting wand is not going to keep our children safe because it will not stop the weapons from entering the school. We need to come together and show the school board we are serious about the safety of our children! I know many of you have written many emails to the school board members, and have received responses. This is progress, but I have been told that this petition will really push the vote. This is extremely important, I will be presenting this at the school board meeting on February 24th. I need as many of you to sign this petition and come and either speak or just be there for support for the cause to show we are a FORCE. We will not stop until walk through metal detectors are installed. If you cannot come, please make sure you sign this petition. Please share with everyone. The safety of our children is at stake.
