We started this petition only a few weeks ago, and SEA members and supporters continue to make their voices heard.
OUR GOAL IS 900 — WE NEED YOU!
Please keep signing and, just as importantly, KEEP SHARING. Send the petition directly to SEA colleagues, coworkers, and friends who may not have seen it yet. Personal outreach makes a difference.

THE PROCESS IS MOVING FORWARD
Since July 19, we have been working to determine the membership threshold required under SEA Bylaw 3.5.1(b), with additional work and inquiries on July 23–24, followed by repeated formal requests to SEA throughout August—including August 2, 5, 7, 11, and 14—for the official active-membership count and corresponding 10% recall threshold.
On Friday, August 14, SEA Transitional Director Greg Alarid confirmed that SEA has now determined the August 7 membership count and 10% threshold and forwarded those numbers to the Board committee. We are still awaiting the actual numbers directly.
The committee is scheduled to meet Sunday, August 16, to consider the procedural and signature-verification questions we submitted. We will continue advocating for a process that is prompt, transparent, fair, and fully respects SEA members’ rights under our bylaws. We will not give up, and we are not going away.
We will continue advocating for transparency, accountability, and a fair process that respects the rights of SEA members under our bylaws.
647 and counting. Let's reach 900.
KEEP SIGNING. KEEP VERIFYING. KEEP SHARING.
Every signature matters. Every member voice matters.
