Urgent: Keep Signing and Sharing—We Must Recall Idowu Now

We have reached an important milestone—but we cannot stop now. Our goal is to secure between 900 and 1,000 signatures, creating a strong and unmistakable demonstration of support.
We are still awaiting SEA’s official, updated count of bona fide active members, which will determine the precise 10% threshold required to initiate a recall election under SEA Bylaw 3.5.1(b). Because some signatures may not belong to eligible active members, we need a substantial margin to ensure the formal request cannot be defeated by disputed or ineligible signatures.
Please act now:
Because Change.org does not verify union membership, current active SEA members must complete a separate private verification form for their signatures to count toward that requirement.
If you are currently an active SEA member, please complete the form here:

Please complete the form only once and use your name as it appears in SEA membership records. Your information will not be published publicly; it may be provided to authorized SEA or WEA representatives only as necessary to verify the formal recall petition.
Share the petition directly with SEA colleagues who have not seen it.
Ask eligible SEA members to sign using their full names.
If you have already signed, personally contact at least one colleague today.
If you are a current active SEA member, complete the private membership-verification form.
Our goal is 900–1,000+ signatures. Please keep signing, verifying, and sharing until we reach it. Every eligible member who adds their name strengthens our collective demand to be heard.
