Why this petition matters

Started by Fernando Alaniz
When students from GarlandISD returned to school after winter break on January 10th, 2022, they had to find out that most friends, teachers, and administrators were out due to Covid-19.
It is a shame that our school district is not caring about the health of the students and staff, even though we are going through a pandemic that has taken the lives of so many people in Texas.
We need Superintendent Ricardo Lopez or any Admins, from the district to close down the schools and bring virtual learning, until Texas starts getting lower Covid-19 cases.
This is a list of Demands that us students, staff, and parents deserve the right to ask for:
- Bring back Remote Learning for students that have tested positive for Covid-19 or people with weaken immune systems
- Bring back the mask mandate, so students will know that they are at least safe from giving Covid-19 to friends and families.
- Give PCR Covid Tests.
- Provide masks for Students (3-layers, KN95,etc...)
- Have Testing sites at all School Stadiums, Highschools, and at the Harris Hill Admin Building.
