It's been a little while since my last update, but I have some important news to share. Hamburg has given the green light to the apartment complex, albeit with a few adjustments. The developer has reduced the number of units, made changes to the storm water basin, and intends to add more trees behind the homes on Fairview Ave. While I couldn't attend the meeting, I'm certain there are additional changes that I'm not aware of, but none that would make this project acceptable.

Just a few days ago, a magnificent Bald Eagle graced my backyard, as captured in the attached picture. Could this majestic creature be nesting in the nearby woods? It's quite possible. During one of the Hamburg meetings, someone mentioned the existence of a nest, and this photo could serve as the evidence we need. Let's not forget that under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, disturbing their nests is strictly prohibited. This revelation could be a game-changer for our cause.

Please mark your calendars for April 8th because we have a crucial meeting in Hardyston. It's absolutely essential that everyone who opposes this project attends. Hardyston represents our best opportunity to halt this development. Remember, the Hardyston Land Use Board wasn't overly enthusiastic about the project last time. Let's unite and ensure our voices are heard loud and clear. The integrity of our community is at stake.
