The Hub at Paignton sports academy is the only facility of its kind in the Torbay area, with 4 full size basketball courts offering, glass backboards and spring loaded rings as well as a viewing area. 

The Hub is the only multi-court site available to host both junior and adult basketball tournaments throughout the year.

one by one the motors for each hoop have broken meaning they remain stuck in the ceiling of the sports hall, when the hub have been approached their response is that there is no intention to replace or fix these motors. 

There are now no working hoops at the Hub meaning the facility is unusable for the ever growing basketball community in and around the Torbay area. 

The aim of this petition is to draw attention to the number of people who wish to continue having access to the hub as a basketball court in the hope that funding can and will be found to resolve the issues.
