UPDATE — 1,228 SIGNATURES!!! ❤️ I posted Jennifer’s Law on my Nextdoor app hoping a few more people might read Jenn’s story, understand what I’m fighting for, and sign. I wasn’t prepared for this response. We are now at 1,228 signatures, and I have been reading your comments. Some have stopped me in my tracks. Survivors have shared their own experiences with domestic violence. One woman shared that a friend she knew in high school was killed by her significant other after he had already had multiple felony convictions involving other women. An emergency room nurse wrote that she cares for victims of domestic assault nearly every day. This is exactly why I am fighting for Jennifer’s Law. To every survivor who has commented, signed, shared, or quietly read this without saying a word: I see you. I believe you. Your story matters. You don’t ever have to share the details of what happened to you for your experience or your voice to count. And to everyone who has supported this petition - THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤️
