Petition to Fence and Gate Dorothy & Benjamin Smith Park Located at 7020 Franklin Ave, Hollywood CA , 90028 

We state or believe:

1.That the petitioners are residents of Hollywood Districts 4 & 13

2. That Dorothy & Benjamin Smith Park has been overtaken by homeless encampments.

3.That the encampments in the park have been observed as staging grounds for break-ins, thefts, and vandalism to nearby residences, and businesses.

4. That the park has become unsafe dumping ground full of trash, feces, needles, and drugs that has created an unsafe environment for all members of the community, and neighborhood properties.

5. That a gated fence would allow the community to safely utilize the park once again.
