We, the undersigned residents of the Village of Clinton, respectfully request that the Village Board terminate the current contract with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office for extra patrol services within the village.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office already provides countywide law enforcement coverage, including our village.

The current contract duplicates services and may not be the most efficient use of village funds.

We request that the village explore alternative options for public safety that better reflect the needs and budget of our residents.
