Please stop carrying the Outdoor Channel & The Sportsman Channel. These channels promote the killing of our world's wildlife. Even Safari Club International has a show on the Outdoor Channel. SCI is the hunting organization that Walter Palmer belonged to. SCI has hunting contests for their members which encourage members to kill the biggest and rarest animals in the world. The Outdoor Channel & The Sportsman Channel is responsible for the killing of animals to provide content for their shows.

There have been several incidents of illegal hunting & other crimes involving hosts on shows on these two channels. Some of the incidents were filmed for programs to air on the channels. Here are examples:

In September 2015, the host of the Sportsman Channel hunting show "The Syndicate", Clark W. Dixon, was charged with two felonies related to poaching in northwest Alaska.

In May 2015, Theresa Vail, who hosts an Outdoor Channel adventure show, illegally shot an Alaska grizzly bear and conspired to cover up the violation, according to charges filed in a rural state court.

Aaron Neilson, host of a Sportsman Channel show, pleaded guilty to unlawful hunting of whitetail buck on private property in 1995. He also admitted obtaining a signature by deception and second-degree forgery.

In 2012, Ted Nugent paid a $10,000 fine and was placed on two years' probation for transporting a black bear he illegally killed. The kill occurred in 2009 during a bow hunt that had been filmed for Nugent's Outdoor Channel television show Spirit of the Wild.
