Also known as the Rahn Tract, the property consists of parcels 04120003, 04120002, 04120003A. The current owners of the 505 acre property desire to rezone 425 acres of the property from Agricultural-Residential to Light Industrial.

They intend to develop the property into over +4 million square feet of shipping warehouses. 

This would cause immense strain on the local residential community of Rahn Station Road and other nearby communities by creating noise and traffic pollution, pollution of wetlands and ground water, destruction of the sense of community and devastation to nearby property values. 

Please sign this petition if you oppose the rezoning of the Rahn Tract on Rahn Station Road. The Planning Board of Effingham County is meeting to discuss this project on November 12, 2024 and the Commissioners Hearing takes place on December 3, 2024.
