We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the City of Sebastopol consider transforming the closed Rite Aid site (218 N Main St, Sebastopol, CA 95472) into a community green park.

This location is ideally situated — across from the new apartment complex whom need outdoor space since they are tightly fit with their neighbors— and it would serve as a valuable green space for residents, students, and visitors alike.

A community park at this site would:

 • Provide students with a welcoming place to walk through or relax after school.

 • Enhance the friendly, small-town atmosphere that makes downtown Sebastopol special.

 • Offer a central location for community activities such as yoga in the park, art gatherings, and outdoor events.

By creating a park here, Sebastopol would continue its tradition of supporting sustainability, community connection, and local well-being.
