We are planning to bring The Petition to make the south-end of Lake Shore Drive a permanent “cul de sac” on Wed 9/18/2024 @ 6:30 pm. @ Lake Park Town Hall, but it’s not enough to say we have over 350 signees unless we can show actual supporters for it. Your support in person would really be tremendously helpful this time…
It doesn’t really matter if in the past, that the south-end of Lake Shore Drive was one way into the marina or two ways, because besides the marina, the building that existed was only 2 floors & traffic was almost non-existent.
Now we are facing a huge complex [26 floors, 340 residents + restaurants + services] the additional traffic will definitely matter…

Good evening..
My name is Daphne Katz and I and my husband along with 352 residents and users of Kelsey Park’s facilities are again coming before you with our petition to request that the South End of Lake Shore Drive remain the Cul de Sac as it has been for the last 3 years while the bridge was fixed from collapsing…
We are happy to see that Lake Shore Drive is a contender in the 11th Annual Great Places in Florida, with the focus Exemplifying Safety for all. We also acknowledge the contribution to this by Nautilus 220, but truly cannot understand their objection to our petition, which will only help to keep Lake Shore Drive the safe clean wonderful oasis it has become.
If Nautilus 220 doesn’t have a vested interest in keeping the south-end of Lake Shore Drive an entrance to their complex, why are they so concerned about it becoming a “cull de sac”, when there was no mention in Nautilus 220 46 pg. “Traffic Impact Report” of the south-end of Lake Shore Drive being an entrance…???
On top of this Nautilus 220 is trying to close down our Petition thru Change.org in championing them to close us down with 9 complaints, that we answered each & every one…
