Chirk youth F.C is run by volunteers and we offer football to all ages from 4-16 year old.  

Chirk AAA have been a great assistance over the years, allowing us to use the ground for Under 11 and below. But when we get to U12 and above we move up to 11 aside and there is no room on the AAA field for us.

We currently use the Chapel Lane pitch and the Chirk Junior school pitch. As of next season we will need an extra pitch to accommodate all of our teams. In previous years the Station Avenue pitch has been used by Chirk Youth as well as Stanton house FC. 

We have recently asked the council for use of the pitch again, stating that we would fund any necessary repairs and maintenance of the pitch. This was rejected by the Town Council, and they informed us of their plan to remove the goals from the recreation ground. 

We are asking the local community to support Chirk youth and all of our players in signing this petition to back the use of Station Avenue recreation ground for use as a football field.

Without an extra pitch we will not be able to facilitate all of our teams meaning that one team will have to fold. So please support us and we can continue to offer football and enjoyment for the youth of Chirk and surrounding areas.
