I am starting this petition because students at the new school campus are not getting the same academic and extracurricular opportunities as students at Main Campus. Even though the new school is supposed to focus on healthcare and business, it’s missing a lot of important classes, like AP Chemistry, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Calculus,that help students in those pathways prepare for college. There are also some language but no options like Italian or French IV these are fundamental to graduate, and to expand knowledge in those areas. We’ve found out that 69 courses offered not offered in the West Campus.

I understand there are staffing issues, but it’s still really important for students, parents, and teachers to be informed about what’s missing so we can ask for change. Without this information, many students signed up for the new school without knowing how limited their options would be.

It’s not just about academics,extracurriculars are also affected. There’s a lack of transportation for clubs and sports. It’s not just about timing; there literally aren’t enough buses to support students who want to be involved in after-school activities. This makes it hard or even impossible to join sports teams or clubs if you're based at the new West campus.

I believe every student deserves equal access to classes, clubs, and opportunities, no matter what building they’re in.
