Thank you Supreme Court for doing whats right. I am asking President Donald Trump to please keep his promise. To ban tik tok. He has changed his stance and it is so disappointing. Tik tok went dark last night and it is the best thing to happen. But President Donald Trump indicates he will remove the ban and is close to the Chinese spy apps CEO. 

I speak out today, not just on behalf of myself, but for countless individuals who have been scammed, extorted, abused, and defamed on TikTok. Many have suffered dire consequences, their lives marred by the lack of appropriate action taken by the platform. Alarmingly, criminals are operating freely on this app; their reprehensible actions, ignored or overlooked.

TikTok's influence is undeniable. Unfortunately, this platform has become synonymous with the broadcasting of inappropriate material, some involving minors. It is unconscionable that discussions about drugs, sex, and the glorification of criminal behaviors are allowed on this platform. Such content not only desensitizes our youth but also posits danger for all users.

Often underscoring these issues is a terrifying tendency towards data theft and the spread of misinformation, further fracturing the global digital landscape, to say nothing of the rampant posts glorifying dangerous trends or spreading fake news. Citing a study from the Digital Forensic Investment Lab, over 70% of the rumors and false information regarding COVID-19 were disseminated through TikTok in 2020.

Our petition is to protect the integrity and safety of its users. It's an urgent plea for transparency and enhanced content screening processes to curtail the unchecked spread of harmful content. We cannot standby as our digital safety, the wellbeing of our children, our data, and our minds are compromised. Tik tok has put us in danger for years allowing Irreversible damages. Our children are spending hours on this app and being influenced in a dangerous way.

It's time to regain our online safety and security. Tik tok is openly allowing all this on their app. Contacting Tik tok legal email has no response. Signing this petition will send a loud and clear message; we demand a Ban of Tik tok to be enfiorced immediately. Sign this petition today.
