Dear Friends and Concerned Citizens,
I was hoping I would have some tangible news by now. Unfortunately, the wheels of justice turn slowly but will hopefully grind fine.
After my December 20th, 2024 hearing, Justice Labrosse recommended the scheduling of a case management conference.
Trial Coordination was to contact both parties to set a date. No one reached out to me so far. I am unsure if the snap Provincial election caused the delay since the Attorney General of Ontario is a party to my Judicial Review.
I will send a letter to the court to hopefully have a trial coordination set a date soon. A Case Conference is an opportunity to narrow down and potentially settle the issues raised.
Since the implementation of a "reading device" on all Canadians' analogue meters is a threat to everyone's privacy, safety and health, I am reaching out to you for your suggestions on acceptable opt-out options. Please post your ideas in the comment section of the petition and I will incorporate them into my Case Management Conference pleadings.
I will be speaking at 8:15 pm today, April 14 on Jane Scharf's zoom when I will share a copy of my Amended Judicial Review. Here is the link - https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85075768526
Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns and ideas.
Sincerely,
Isabelle Beaudoin.
