Hello everybody,

I would like to personally thank all who signed this petition for your overwhelming support. In only 1 week of posting this petition, we reached an incredible 95 signatures, and we don't seem to be stopping. As our supporters grow in numbers, I would like to make clear our exact course of action over the coming months to finally ban IXL. First, before we can go any further, we need even more signatures (government is not easy to persuade sometimes), and our goal is 150 signatures before the end of March. For that reason, I humbly request that you share and spread this petition far and wide, to reach and exceed our goal. Following 150 signatures, I will work directly with school board members and possibly board of supervisors members to figure out the specifics of amending the school budget. Following that, I will update everyone on our status and estimated time until we finally see some action.
