We, the students of Liberty Hill High School and their families, respectfully ask for your support in allowing a special teal and purple cord to be worn during graduation in honor of Jozie Wilson. Jozie’s life and spirit left a profound impact on her classmates and on our community, this small gesture would allow us to remember and celebrate her during one of the most meaningful moments of our lives. While we understand there is concern about setting a precedent, Jozie’s passing is an extraordinary circumstance deserving of compassion and recognition. Honoring her in this way is not about making exceptions — it’s about coming together as a community to honor a friend we have lost but will never forget.
