🎉 SIGNED. SEALED. DELIVERED! HB 165 IS NOW LAW! 🎉

I am excited to share that Delaware House Bill 165 (HB 165) was officially signed into law by the Governor of Delaware on August 31, 2026!

This is an incredible milestone in our continued advocacy to advance occupational therapy practice in Delaware, including establishing a pathway for appropriately trained occupational therapists to incorporate dry needling into clinical practice.

This achievement represents many months of advocacy, collaboration, education, and persistence. I am incredibly thankful to everyone who supported this cause, contributed their expertise, advocated alongside us, and helped move HB 165 forward.

The work continues! 🔎

Over the upcoming months, we will be watching the Delaware Board of Occupational Therapy as regulations and implementation guidance are developed to determine when these provisions can officially be incorporated into clinical practice.
