Only 17 days until the 2021/2022 school year starts and it is not a good feeling. The normal school-related concerns, like who will be in my child’s class and what school supplies do we need, seem like a luxury right now.

Our most important supplies aren’t pencils, but three-layer masks with filters and strong enough hand sanitizer.

And, even if our children have all of those things at school it is still not enough unless there is at least a mandatory mask mandate. We just crossed the 400 mark for signatures for this petition, and we thank each and every one of you. But, our work is not done. Keep sharing this petition with the community, and contacting our local, state, and national leadership.
