Every day in the United States, healthy, adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters — not because they are sick or dangerous, but because shelters are overcrowded, underfunded, and out of options.

Pets shouldn’t die in one state while families wait in another.

✅ Require transparency in shelter outcomes
Public reporting helps communities improve and save more lives.

The Solution Is Compassion + Investment
Killing healthy pets is not humane — it is the result of broken systems and lack of support.

We can be a country that chooses rescue, prevention, and humane care instead.

Congress has the power to act. The public has the power to demand it.
