Dear Members of the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure,

We, the undersigned, respectfully request that the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the professional conduct of Medical Examiner Staci Turner regarding their involvement in the deaths of  Demartravious Trey Reed, Nolan Xavier Wells,Damion Cameron and Shannon Wilson.

The purpose of this petition is not to predetermine the outcome of any investigation, but to request that the Board determine whether the medical examiner complied with all applicable laws, ethical standards, professional guidelines, and accepted forensic pathology practices.

We respectfully ask the Board to review concerns that may include, if supported by the evidence:

Whether all forensic examinations and autopsy procedures were conducted in accordance with accepted medical and scientific standards.
Whether the findings, opinions, and conclusions were based on objective medical evidence.
Whether all relevant evidence was properly documented, preserved, and disclosed.
Whether any omissions, inconsistencies, or errors affected the accuracy or reliability of the medical examiner's conclusions.
Whether the medical examiner complied with the ethical obligations expected of licensed physicians and forensic professionals.
Whether any conduct may constitute unprofessional conduct or a violation of Mississippi laws or Board regulations.
Because medical examiners serve a critical role in the criminal justice system and in determining the cause and manner of death, the public must have confidence that every investigation is conducted fairly, accurately, and without bias.

We respectfully request that the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure:

Open a formal investigation into the conduct of Medical Examiner Stacy Turner.
Review all relevant records, reports, photographs, evidence, and testimony related to this matter.
Determine whether any violations of professional standards or Board regulations occurred.
Take any disciplinary or corrective action the Board finds appropriate if misconduct is substantiated.
Inform the complainant, to the extent permitted by law, regarding the status and outcome of the investigation.
This petition is submitted in the interest of accountability, transparency, professional integrity, and public trust in Mississippi's medicolegal death investigation system.
