Petition Requesting Biloxi to use Grant Money for Low & Moderate Income Family Housing

Petition Requesting Biloxi to use Grant Money for Low & Moderate Income Family Housing
The Issue
We, the undersigned residents and concerned citizens of Biloxi, urge the City of Biloxi to prioritize the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for repairing housing stock and assisting with the housing needs of low- and moderate-income families. These grant funds should address the immediate and critical needs of families, rather than being spent on fire trucks and road projects that do not directly benefit those most in need.
Our community has been underfunded for too long, and it is essential that we focus on restoring housing. The grant money should be used to improve quality of life by addressing housing concerns.
By signing this petition, we call on the City of Biloxi to listen to the concerns of its residents and allocate grant money to projects that matter most to low- and moderate-income families, creating a sustainable future for our community.
