Issue: Delay and Uncertainty Regarding the Final Class 9 Syllabus

The present issue concerns the uncertainty faced by Class 9 students due to the delayed announcement of the final syllabus. As communicated by NCERT on 25 September, the final Class 9 syllabus is expected to be released in October.

Students need sufficient time to understand the final syllabus, complete the required chapters, revise, and prepare properly for their final examinations. A delayed announcement, particularly if there are changes in chapters or topics, may create confusion among students, teachers, and schools and make it difficult to plan studies effectively.

Therefore, timely and clear communication of the complete final syllabus, along with any changes from the existing syllabus, is requested so that Class 9 students get adequate time and clarity to prepare for their final examinations.
