Lomond residents in the construction zone are concerned that dewatering and excavating close to their homes from the sidewalks and in the tree lawn will disturb the foundation of their homes let alone require removal of all trees. We are seeking engineering support.

Thank you to all who value the preservation of our neighborhood environment (as well as a sewer upgrade). Many of you have shared the issues whole streets have encountered with Fabrizi (trees damaged beyond saving, dangerous construction management of sites). We believe more city oversight was needed.

Where is the finish line? This project is hinging on a number: about 2 million dollars. Two million more the city would pay to put the sewer in the road on Lomond Blvd. for two blocks - in the road like it is everywhere else.  Could the cost savings the city gained by choosing the lowest bidder have amounted to that much?  Perhaps it is time to pay for the work that needs to be done and preserve essential habitats and community quality of life!

Transparency please. We would like to know what the other bids on this project were.  Were they more realistic?  We would like to see the current contracts and amendments to understand.  Public records requests on the contracts have not been fulfilled.

Please come to the city council meeting (or Join on zoom)  Monday,  July 27 at 7pm and voice your concerns with us!

Thank you!
