Thank you for signing the petition for Mayor Jeff Leal to resign for using an anti-Black racist slur. We must continue with the work of justice and democracy for Peterborough's city council.

It’s time to raise our voices and show the City Council that the people of Peterborough will not stand by while trust is broken and democracy is undermined.
On June 2, the council made a decision that disregards the values of transparency, respect, and public accountability. Points of order were ignored. Processes were twisted. Intimidation and bullying are becoming normalized in our city leadership, and we say NO.
This rally is about more than one vote. It’s about what kind of government we are willing to accept. We should never tolerate a culture of fear, threats, and backroom decisions at any level of leadership.
