 📢 WHY THIS MATTERS

Right now, almost every pet insurance policy in the UK refuses to cover any condition your pet had before you took out the policy – even if it was a minor injury years ago, or a well-managed ongoing illness.

This leaves thousands of owners facing heartbreaking choices: go into thousands of pounds of debt, or say goodbye to their beloved pet just because their health condition came first.

 We pay premiums month after month for peace of mind – only to be abandoned when we need help most. This has to change.

We call for new mandatory rules for all UK pet insurance policies:

✅ Provide cover for stable, well-managed conditions and new complications

✅ Fair, transparent pricing – no punishing owners for caring for their pet properly

✅ Protection when you renew or switch policies – loyalty should not cost you cover

✅ Plain English terms, so you know exactly what you’re paying for

 Older pets, rescue animals, breeds prone to health issues – they deserve care too. Responsible owners shouldn’t be penalised just because their pet needed help before.
